hi, i'm hailey. welcome to my cozy little corner of the internet ♡
i'm a nostalgic soul who grew up on games, anime, glitter, and the soft, sweet glow of the y2k era. it was a time of pure self expression, raw and real, filled with sparkly gel pens, glossy lips, low rise jeans, that flirty babecore energy, and a hopeful warmth of a better world that still tugs at my heart.
this space is where i reminisce, share my thoughts, gush over my loves. get comfy and explore with me.

This hit me right in the feels. I went back to my childhood playground last year and it was TINY. Like, how did I ever think that slide was massive.
I visited my old school a few years ago and the hallways felt way smaller than I remembered. I used to think they were huge. Time is weird.
I miss that feeling too. The world felt infinite when I was a kid.
I replayed Ocarina of Time recently and it felt so small compared to how epic it was in my head as a kid. Still love it though.
Real talk. I think part of growing up is learning to find new kinds of wonder. It's not the same, but it's still there if you look for it.
You're right. It's not just nostalgia, it's the loss of that wild imagination. Adulthood kinda dims the magic we feel as kids.
i feel this so hard. i used to play pokemon and imagine entire stories beyond the game. now i just grind stats, man.
I miss being able to get lost in a game like it was a whole other world 😭
i feel this so much. i love the gif u used hailey <3
You just described the exact reason I started drawing again. Trying to reconnect with that sense of wonder and imagination I had as a kid.
I don't know how I ended up here but this place feels cozy.
you always word things so nicely, god. love you hailey.
Age and growth come to mind. Nothing ever stays the same, however the memories become more valuable and treasured. Always take the experience over the destination and treasure every moment as if it was your last.
Well said, man. That's exactly how I feel when I visit the parks I used to go to as a kid, everything feels so much smaller now. Just part of growing up. But the fun doesn't all fade, we just enjoy things differently as we get older. I'm grateful I can still feel that.
girlll you always put things into words so perfectly. i miss those days too, everything felt so big so magical and just easy. no stress, no adulting, just pure wonder. ugh, take me back.
I think it's because we swap imagination for knowledge, and sometimes that sucks.
Sometimes the more interesting thing is when one has that wonder even at an older time. Its something we forget because society likes to create boxes for us to stay in.
I totally relate to how you described it. I was always trying to find glitches and break out of maps too as a kid, those worlds felt massive back then. Looking back now, it just doesn't feel the same. It was that wild imagination we had as kids that made it all feel so special.
