hi, i'm hailey. welcome to my cozy little corner of the internet ♡
i'm a nostalgic soul who grew up on games, anime, glitter, and the soft, sweet glow of the y2k era. it was a time of pure self expression, raw and real, filled with sparkly gel pens, glossy lips, low rise jeans, that flirty babecore energy, and a hopeful warmth of a better world that still tugs at my heart.
this space is where i reminisce, share my thoughts, gush over my loves. get comfy and explore with me.

i'm obsessed with leopard print, especially brown or hot pink. it's the sexiest blend of spicy and girly, and has that rebellious, lust‑kissed, seductive heat that screams hot girl confidence. it's peak babecore aesthetic and sexy as hell. polka dots are my other all‑time fav pattern but in a totally different way... soft, gentle, feminine, and sweet

dreams: to begin something meaningful in japan, a story, a game, a world shaped by my OCs, and let it ripple outward into something kind. japan feels like the heart of everything that inspires me... the warmth, the creativity, the way people build worlds with so much love. i want to create something there that reaches the whole world, something that makes people feel connected, seen, and safe... maybe even a tiny step toward the softer, peaceful world i always imagine ♡
This is exactly why old-school Halo felt so much more rewarding! Getting a Killionaire meant pushing through the chaos, not hiding and reloading until the clock gave you a freebie.
Honestly, I don’t mind the change. Having a bit more time gives room for smarter plays instead of just reckless rushing. But I get why purists aren’t happy
Great insight as always, Hailey. I miss when multi-kill medals actually felt earned. Now it’s like the game is throwing them at you just for existing. Makes them feel hollow.
I still remember my first Overkill and the achievement it gave. It was one of the last ones I needed for Halo 3. It had to be in the Ranked FFA playlist so you couldn't easily cheat it. I was playing FFA Oddball on Guardian.
The final kill was so tense. I was holding the Oddball, my shields were down, and I had placed a bubble shield right in the centre of the map which I was a sitting duck in.
A guy was playing the upper ramp and I needed him to come to me because I couldn't go out there or I'd get shot to bits. I ran forward, pretending as if I'd meet him and feinted the melee battle by falling back. He whiffed his melee which gave me enough time to leave the bubble and and take him out.
Kid me was so overjoyed that I don't even remember if I won the game afterwards, it didn't matter, I got an Overkill and I was over the moon.
